You will go on the website AscendTMS https://ascendtms.com/login and put in the login information.

1. After log in you will be taken to a dashboard. You will click on Rates and the page will look like the page below

2. You will then plug in the addresses and click on the truck type. Click on get rates from AscendAccuRate.

3. After you click on rates from Ascend the screen should show information like this. This information is what you will provide agents.

4. You will then crop the information to only show this example

5. When sending the quote to the agent it should be sent as follows:

Hello (Agent Name),

Above you will find the current rate market carriers are being booked for the lane. The information presented provide the rate per mile for the past 15- 90 days. When calculating your quote we would suggest using the average rates in the future (the next 7 days). When quoting the Shipper/Customer you want to quote them a few hundreds more than what you would want to give the Carrier so that you would make a profit. When quoting the Shipper/Customer you want to start at a higher rate and then go down gradually. We do not tell you what to quote the shipper we want to leave that up to you but we want to provide the information to help you as you come up with your numbers. Additionally if this is a LTL please use the LTL quoting guide located in the document center of the VIP portal.
