In order to do a credit check on a shipper you will go on the website Denim (formerly Axle payments) https://www.denim.com/ and put in the login information.

1. After log in you will be taken to a dashboard. You will click on Customers and the page will look like this. This list shows all the customers (shippers) that have went through a credit check. As you see the green means approved meaning we can work with them. The red is declined meaning we can not work with them.
2. To run the check we would first see if the company is already apart of the Denim System. If they are apart of the system we would be able to work with them because the credit check has already been completed. Usually you would click the plus sign which would add the business to our list but since it is already on our list it has a check mark by it
3. Go to ADD CUSTOMER to see if it is in the system. As you see, the information is not pulling up. If it is not pulling up you will click on Add a New Company
4. After you click on Add a New Company, this will pop up. You will need to add the information in so that the credit check can be ran.
5. You will plug in information for the company. As of now the credit request form that the agents fill out only has the name and city/state. You must as the specialist research the information such the email, phone number, and address. You can usually find this through google. Also for the credit amount always put 25,000.
6. Once the information is in hit Submit for approval. The company will show as under review. We will have to wait for a response.
Email the agent:
Your credit check request is under review. We will advise you of the status as soon as we receive it.
7. If you go to Request Center you can see the status of the credit check.
At this point you are waiting for a response. Check back frequently throughout the day for an response because you will not be notified by Denim with updates.
8. Once a status is provided you will be provide a approved or declined. If it is approved you will email the agent saying agent
:
The (company name) credit check has been approved. We will be able to move forward with them.
9. If you get a status of declined we will not be able to work with them. You would crop the status to look like picture and email the agent stating :
Unfortunately we will not be able to move forward with (company name). Below you will find the information provided from the credit team.
